Mekare-Kare @ Black Wire Records

Mekare-Kare playing their most condensed set of the tour at the last show of the tour at Black Wire Records in Sydney, 13th November 2012. This was the only set I recorded because I forgot to buy batteries*. Thanks to  Making and Dead China Doll, who were both excellent, for the excellent gear. Black Wire are having some problems at the moment that are similar to the situation at Dada's. Hopefully both can pull through and music will win**.

We went to a party afterwards, I swiped a full open bottle of cptn morgan from Kenta and Matts friend who left early, skulled it in 10 mins then blacked out*, pretty weird since I have about an average midland tolerance but I was totally fucked and got alcohol poisoning and shit but it was hilarious. Soz Syddy.

Bamodi at The Gasometer in Melbong. Decent odd beers and long chips and a nice sized room. Thanks to The Bonniwells for the gear and Jon Bonniwell for the rolls. We had a great time in Melbong, good greenery, the dandenongs were amusing, food was good, friends were fully sick. The coffee was not good enough and neither were the records though*

Constant Mongrel at Bar Open in Melbong, Victoria. The last times I saw CM they were an awescore 2 piece* but now they have a girl and a Murray, I feel for them. Back when the Leg were a constant concern they did a great split tape with CM, never saw many of them though. CM released a great LP recently, A+.

Bamodi at Bar Open in Melbourne. The kebabs a few doors down were not excellent* but the junkies on the street were amusing. Thanks to Constant Mongrel and High Tea for the gear, missed the start of High tea and didn't record but they were real great.

Bamodi at The Metro in Adelaide. We had a great time in Addy, great food and great people, Kenta went and got an arse massage which he tells me is like a local delicacy for bdsm types. The Metro is a great venue, free bandaccom, have Cooper's Stout on tap**, good room/pa, laser show***, all the amenitiesetc.

First gig for Adelaide's "Tentative jazz, suggestive and slender hard rock/gentle rumble cage matches" Psalm Trio. I loved it. The light show was the best in this, the shitty photos I took dont catch it but the double laser light show was fucken' ridiculousick.

"Perth experimental Punk overlords" Bamodi at The Bakery launching their LP Smell Heaven, the split  7" with Mekare-Kare and the related tour. 7th of October 2012. No punishers, no bad bands and a good crowd make for happy days. I was busy/loose and didn't record anything other than MK, sorry. Everyone cut sick and it was Lewis Water's 2nd last Mental Powers show, sad cunt.
