This acoustic show presents certain problems for a bootlegger which you will understand by listening to the sets. Rabbit Island played first on the night in trio mode (Amber w/ regular sparring partner Leonie Lionheart on b. vox and d. beats with another girl I didn't recognise on b.vox and candle) and were very good although it was near impossible to hear much above the chitter chatter and even less possible to hear voice and guitar over drums. Taco Leg pulled out an entertaining set, Ringho had a drum kit composed of; double kick briefcase duct taped to the floor; smashed up cymbal; wood block for snare and three roto toms. Simon swapped the dano for a ukey and a red acoustic guitar. Andrew used a Shure brushomatic, belonging to Ruby Travel. needless to say it was a great set. After tacousticaleg left the floor Greg and co (Matt Wreck and Karen) set up shop. All strumming and harmonizing and such, it was good but too long ago for me to make with the details. I stayed just long enough to see These Shipwrecks play a very percussive and spirited set. Then I went home. THE END.
